Federal Grants Workshop
When: March 8 - 10, 2016
Where: Burlington, VT
What: 3-day federal grants workshop, co-hosted by NAASF and the U.S. Forest Service, focused on the new Omni Circular and compliance with federal audits; designed to be broad in scope to target both state grant managers and program managers. Forest Service staff from the Financial Compliance Oversight Branch in Albuquerque will be the main presenters. A synopsis of the workshop agenda is available here. A full agenda is currently under development and will be posted soon.

Lodging: Both the workshop and guest rooms are located at the Hilton at 60 Battery St. in Burlington. A block of rooms has been reserved at $104/night plus tax. Be sure to make hotel arrangements by February 16 to receive the discounted rate. Contact the central reservations line for the hotel at (800) 445-8667 for reservations and indicate code "FGW" to get the block rate.
Travel: The Hilton is located 4 miles from the Burlington International airport and offers complementary shuttle service from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm on the hour. Call the hotel in advance to schedule a ride at (802) 658-6500 or email burlington.frontdesk@gmail.com. Taxis are also readily available at both the airport and the hotel.
